Open to new opportunities

I build apps
and websites.

I'm Mahmoud, a software developer. Mobile apps in Swift and Flutter, websites with PHP and MySQL behind them, and the interface design that holds either together. One app is live on the App Store.

01 — Work

Selected work

Two apps I built, a team product, and an interface designed end to end.

Live on the App Store

Nostalix

Seal photos, video and writing into a digital time capsule that stays locked until a date you choose. My own project, taken from first sketch all the way through App Store review.

  • Swift
  • UIKit
  • Firebase

Cross-platform app

In Service

A mobile app for requesting, managing and tracking services in one place. People browse what's available, submit a request, then follow its status and get updates as it moves along. Built in Flutter so a single codebase runs on both iOS and Android, with Firebase handling the data behind it.

  • Flutter
  • Firebase
  • Cross-platform

Team project

ISATIP

A company app built with a team, centred on venue management and activity tracking — the kind of tool where getting the data model right matters as much as the screens on top of it.

  • Swift
  • iOS
  • Teamwork

Interface design

Petsca

An app about feeding and caring for pets, designed end to end in Figma. I also set up Google Tag Manager across the app and its site, so the team could see which flows people actually finished.

02 — About

A bit about me

I'm a software developer — curious, stubborn in the useful way, and as interested in how something feels to use as in how it's built. I work across both sides: native apps in Swift, cross-platform ones in Flutter, and websites running on PHP and MySQL.

What I enjoy most is turning an idea into something real: sketching the interface in Figma, then writing the code that makes it behave. I've taken an app all the way through App Store review, and wired up analytics with Google Tag Manager to see what people actually do once they're inside.

03 — Services

What I can do for you

Five things I'm set up to take on, from the first sketch to the day it's live in front of users.

iOS App Development

Native apps written in Swift, built with SwiftUI or UIKit depending on what the project actually needs. From an empty Xcode project through to a build that's ready for review.

Web Development

Responsive websites and web interfaces built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Clean markup, quick loading, and layouts that hold up from a phone screen to a wide desktop monitor.

Cross-Platform Apps

One Flutter codebase running on both iOS and Android — the sensible route when a project needs to reach everyone without paying to build the same thing twice.

App Interface Design

Screens and flows designed in Figma, prototyped so you can click through them before a line of code exists. Handed over in a state a developer can actually build from.

Launch & Analytics

Getting the app through App Store Connect and out the door, then wiring up Firebase and Google Tag Manager so you can see what people do once they're inside it.

Something close to this but not quite it? Tell me what you need — happy to talk it through.

Let's talk

lets create some interesting projects together. The fastest way to reach me is email.

Live on the App Store

Nostalix

A digital time-capsule app. Seal photos, video and writing inside a capsule, choose a date, and it stays locked until that day comes.

Role
Solo, personal project
Platform
iOS
Built with
Swift · UIKit · Firebase
Status
Published on the App Store

What it does

Each capsule holds multimedia and written content — photos, videos and text — that can't be opened before the date set when it was created. The whole point is that nothing comes back early: it arrives on the day you chose.

How it's built

The interface is built in UIKit, with Firebase integrated behind it. I took it all the way through App Store review to release, which is where a project stops being a prototype and has to hold up for real users.

Cross-platform app

In Service

A mobile app for requesting, managing and tracking services in one place — built to make the whole process faster and more organised for customers and service providers alike.

Role
Development
Platform
iOS & Android
Built with
Flutter · Firebase

What it does

People browse the services on offer — grouped into categories such as cleaning, moving, delivery, repairs and plumbing — submit a request, then follow its status and get updates as it moves along. It's designed around both sides of the exchange: the customer asking for the work and the provider carrying it out.

How it's built

Written in Flutter, so a single codebase ships to both iOS and Android instead of maintaining two separate apps, with Firebase handling the data behind it.

Team project

ISATIP

A company app built as part of a team, centred on managing venues and keeping track of the activity around them.

Role
Developer, working in a team
Platform
iOS
Built with
Swift

What it does

ISATIP is built for managing venues and tracking activities — the kind of tool where getting the underlying data model right matters as much as the screens built on top of it.

Petsca species-selection step: illustrated cards for dog, cat, rabbit, exotic and other, with a progress bar showing step one of four.

Interface design

Petsca

An app about feeding and caring for pets, designed end to end in Figma, with analytics set up across both the app and its website.

Role
Interface design & analytics
Platform
Mobile app & website
Built with
Figma · Google Tag Manager

What it does

The app guides people through a step-by-step flow that starts by asking which kind of pet they have — dog, cat, rabbit, something exotic or other — before building up the details it needs.

How it's built

Every screen and flow was designed in Figma. I also integrated Google Tag Manager across the app and its website, so events could be tracked and the data analysed to see how people actually move through it.
